current music: Foolish Heart - Nina
It's morning and I just got home from Mass. Dahil hindi naka-gising sina Perry at Carla at Sannds, mag-isa nanaman ako. Normally, I'd be slightly irritated that they'd not want to get up. After all, I wake up at around 6 just to make the Eucharist in time and I don't live that near like they do. But hey, it's alright. Nag-text naman si Perry and he's getting online to play Gunbound in around...hmmm... a few hours.
Ewan ko ba. Between my family using the webcam and his older sisters competing with him for use of the PC, I doubt I'll see him. But anyway.
===============
The past few days have been hectic enough while still being quite nice. Thursday night saw me out at CPK with my family, Friday had be shuffling back and forth between ADMU and Della to get things done, and yesterday was Home Visits and another Days meeting. Sweet.
I find myself missing the occasional phone calls I make to friends or the hours in front of this PC mindlessly destroying digital empires. Phyisically my body is no more fit. Hindi pumapayat; napapagod lang. So if anybody asks how my summer was, I'll say "don't ask". I'd be too tired to answer them anyway.
===============
As the days pass, I really feel like I'm preparing something amazing for my sponsorees. Like wrapping a real big gift, and their birthdays aren't for months. Not that I'm to take credit for all the sweetness the weekend shall shower on them, no. But I believe I am gonna play a big part in the way they experience that wonderful weekend ahead. And that makes me real happy. :)
I'm having lots of trouble trying to get everything together, particularly because some people/events/schedules are not cooperating or are cooperating but difficult to piece together. The batch is still weeks away, but already I feel the pressure to get it all done right now. Stupid monkey. Maybe I shouldn't be too hard on myself, but if I won't be, who will?
The fact that all this is a surprise creeps me. My identity must be kept secret, and I can trust hardly anyone! But if some unscrupulous person I asked for help spills the coffee, fine. If they don't know it's me, the surprise is better. If they do, well... ewan. Baka pangit weekend nila. That or they'll expect something so grand and amazing that they'll be let down.
===============
Tomorrow I'll be in the Pub, if anyone's looking. I hope everything works out fine.
Today, I shall rest.
By the way, I HATE IT when people change the text size of my browsers to 'smallest' or when people use my username to play Windows Media files when I spend a long while to organize a nice playlist of songs THAT THEY DON'T BOTHER SAVING.
Stupid stupid stupid.

current music: a remake of Biglaan by A24's Cyrus Langkay. :D
Discovery of the day: I love teaching Catechism. (or at least, LnK's slightly toned-down version. :D )
I must remember to keep my composure when people ask me questions about details on Days. Haay. Hirap talaga. Still, I feel my arm twist and my eyebrows twitch at each query. Is it a sensitive issue? Sort of, hence my reluctance to speak. Buti pa 'tong Blogger, I can edit. Anything pertaining to the mysterious weekend well away from civilization is something I tend not to talk about.
I'm sorry. Rules are rules. Kahit gaano kitang mahal, rules are rules. And besides, I don't want to lose the chance that you'd be part of it too.
But it's sad. The closest people to me are not Dayzers. They're the people who respect my need for secrecy, and never pry (and I love them dearly for that). Yet they're the ones I'm dying to share it to! Eh ayaw naman nilang mag-Days, for various at times insiginificant reasons. Oo. Stupid monkey talaga.
Come Saturday, 45% of my work will be done. Patapos na ako sa isang participant, and I've got things planned to get the other one done expeditiously. Yeh. I love this life I lead.
==============
Kanina masaya. I felt real good singing Biglaan with Paeng and RaPao at the Church's doorstep. Sort of therapy. It looked like it was gonna rain, so I thought "the hell. let's do this." It didn't rain, which may mean I'm better than 90% of all karaoke machines give me credit for. :D
I'll miss teaching Catechism to my 4th year class. Well, it wasn't REALLY Catechism. Just some sort of values education of sorts. I loved the way the class seemed to really get into it, listening, participating, sharing with each other their views and perspectives. It's also hell easier than trying to explain conjunctions and prepositions, or writing random math equations for them to solve.
Thank you Lord. Maybe I've paid a portion of my debt by teaching them things that bring them closer to you. :D

Part of the magic of being one of the "golden oldies" in LnK is that you are virtually immune to all forms of gossip. Wala silang alam sa 'yo, at wala silang pwedeng pang-asar. Pero alam mo ang mga kwento nila. :D :D :D
Next summer pa kaya ako? Chimoms is planning her return, hopefully with recruits. I need replacements for next week, and fast, primarily because of the tasks I need done. Haaay.
I've got two people in mind for recruits. Pero wag this year. BAKA MATALO ANG OLDIES SA BASKETBALL PAG SINAMA KO SILA! :D [as if we didn't have enough troubles. it'll be like playing against 2 Perry Mesinas.]

Hey there, Frosty! You are the nice, happy snowman.
You know how to have a good time. You are most
likely invited to almost all the Christmas
parties, if any are scheduled. You will
probably really enjoy this Christmas, which is
great for you. People love to be around you.
Have a Merry Christmas =)
What Christmas Figure Are You?

HEY! I take exception to that!
Hello, my happy friend. You have high spirits and
know how to have a good time. When your friends
go out, most likely they invite you almost all
the time. You most likely will enjoy your
Halloween. Good for you. Keep up the
experiment. You probably light people's dark
days with your smiles and laughter. Although
you're good, doesn't mean you're an angel. You
can tend to have a scary and/or other type of
side to you. As long as you have fun, do your
scares this Halloween. Have a safe and happy
one, Joyous Pumpkin.

current music: I Can't Make You Love Me - Bonnie Rait
Today was the birthday of Migs Balmaceda. Thank you Migs for the pizza lunch! :D
It was nice being able to surprise somebody for their birthday. I've not been part of something like that since Mickee's famous McDo birthday bash back in December. This one was much simpler than last though; it was done in Della's 'dead room', where they hold wakes for the dead. We, however, celebrated the life of a celebrated new tutor. Cool. :) Sayang lang; as fantastic as the surprise was, hindi namin siya napa-iyak. Bitin. :p But either way, cool na sumayaw sila ni Angel, kinantahan siya ni Dani at may cheesecake si Christa (na napakasarap, by the way).
Yeah... you guessed it. It'd be nice if somebody surprises me in my 21st birthday. And yes, if that happens, I'ma gonna cry. ü
The lunch was cool. Played cards, ate pizza, ate the cheesecake, and took a trike home w/ some help from Michiko and Migi for dropping me off closer to the trike stop. Thanks guys. :)
[kailangan pala nila ng "LnK Family Legacy Name"... I dunno, but it's kinda weird if Miguel and Michiko both were under the umbrella of "Soriano Sisterhood". Baka "Sorority" pwede pa. :p at sina Bay at Debbi as well as Christa and Chino kailangan din ng name!]
Next Tuesday, I may miss the Finals Day of LnK, because I've got an important appointment to make. I'm writing it here in order for me not to forget. Please remind me come next week.
Other details... love ko ang Heights EB. :D Yeah, hindi ako kasami ng Editorial Board, but yesterday I was the guest in one of the meetings. Tutulong ako sa OrSem Org Tour namin, and for once I felt important sharing my knowledge of OrSem procedure. :p Sarap ding maki-joke kasami nina Kuya Ralph at Vittorio at Jason at Dean at Em at Jilly...at... at silang lahat! Hotness!
Haay. Wednesday na pala. Bilis ng panahon.

How evil are you?
Yeah! I'm Gooooood. :D
current music: I Wonder if Heaven Got a Ghetto - 2pac
I miss listening to Tupac Shakur's music. It's been a while since I felt like picking up his CD's around the house and popping them in the PC, just to soothe away the feeling you're being treated unjustly. Maybe it's because I'm not mad at anybody, so there's nothing to ease. Either way, it's good to listen to something you know helps you out one way or another.
I am late for LnK, simply because I went with my family to watch Troy. If you've not seen the film, I'll say it's really good. (And that's from somebody who studied the Iliad to write plays for class.) Loved the brilliant screenplay and the feeling of the whole movie was epic. Always more around the next corner. And I liked the fact they didn't add any of the Greek gods and goddesses... it made it feel more real: that the people pray on high, but must depend on their own strengths to pull through. Which is how it really is in the real world, right? You can pray, but the work will be done by you in the end.
Although tama batchmates ko. The war really did last longer than 3 weeks. :p
I'm tired because of the constant moving around from left to right, between LnK lunch-outs, trips to school to try and see if the PubRoom is open, and A-Days meetings...it's taking a physical toll. Sana walang masamang mangyari sa akin, but it's getting tough. I'll need to watch my health; the stress might creep on me and cripple me when I'm least prepared.

current music: React - Eric Sermon <==== love ko tong song na to. :D
Today was an unusually good day. ü With the exception that Ragma had to stay out waiting and my conscience is bothering me again, everything went so nice. :)
I woke up, dressed and ate a big, late breakfast... vege-tapa with boiled eggs and rice and some milk. Then, I watched a basketball game between the Nets and the Pistons. Can you say Triple overtime? :D Fun, exciting stuff. The Nets won by the way. And the T-Wolves beat the Kings again. Wow. Okay... exciting stuff ahead.
I got off to school, taled to Lippy for about an hour, then headed to the Participants' Meeting. Got to meet the participants (Jane, Irene, Louie, Pat, if i'm not mistaken, although may kulang), got to introduce Julian to the other Dayzers (andun si Chil, Joshua, Dandan, at Timo), got to talk to Crisel for quite a while... a relatively long while. :p When they were all gone, ako, si Lippy, Rita at Mara nagkwentuhan. :) Ok, ok day.
I took three jeeps to head to Ever Gotesco to find Cy and Paul. In two of the jeeps, I met Ma'am Xavier of Pisay fame! :D Ok na usapan... nice catching up with her and the stuff happening in my old school. Yey. :)
Saw Cy and Paul at Netopia playing Counter-strike. Miss ko na palang mag-CS. Wala lang. :p Bought Vannie a gift, bought donuts and ice coffee at Select (I didn't have lunch yet then), then crashed at Cy's pad to play PS2 and soundtrip (although nahuli kami ni Kuya Archie, so hindi talaga naka-PS2 ng husto. :p).
Then we played basketball. Natalo at nanalo ng tig-isang game. Yey. :) PAGOD! Sobra lang. Maybe it's because before the game, I drank ice coffee, so the caffeine must've caused my heart to go hyper, and hence, the chest pain/stitch I played through. Asar moment lang: Cy did not hold back. Gayot sa basket! Shet! After the game, we took a walk and showed us around the village. Gaganda ng mga bahay.
After a shower, headed to Vannie's for her party. :D Then humabol si Mommy Anj, so saya! Kwentuhan na astig. Ilang ulit din kami sa pagkain nun. Busog. Hwow. Then after which Vannie took us around her house a la MTV Cribs, with Kim's purple room and Vannie's pink one. Happy. :)
Now I'm home. I may miss the Sunday Group masses because I'm gonna sleep late again and wake up late again. Haay.
Now it's late. Time to give this thing a rest. No wait. Somebody give me a CD of this. Please? Pretty please covered with sprinkles? :D

current music: Invisible - CLay Aiken! HAH!
I remembered the Conan O'Brien joke...
"In the year 2000, Batman will admit he is gay. And Clay Aiken will admit that he is Batman."
Uy!
(although I'm admittedly not 100% tolerant. :p)
To all the Batman fans there, no offense. Batman fan pa man din ako. :D
THings I need to do tomorrow:
1.) Go Jogging in the morning.
2.) Meeting sa SEC Foyer
3.) Play NBA Live with Cy
4.) Play some "real basketball" with Cy (hehe!)
5.) Freshen up and go visit Vannie's Birthday party
6.) Go home to check my kids' papers
Oh yeah. Gotta find Vannie a gift somewhere in between. *sigh*
Talking to some people makes me feel how lucky I am to have been part of A-Days. Soon, more people will be part of it too. And in some way, I'll be part of why they're part of it.
My prayer was answered Kuya Jess. Thank you so much.

Current music: Sinatra, again. "Under My Skin". yep. that one. again.:p [sinatra helps when you're chasing away blues]
Current "astig 'to!" movie of the week: Love, Actually.
HOTNESS! Watch! (yes, Pie, I know you didn't get it. that's ok.)
Mom, I love you. Salamat po sa chocolate drink. :)
-----------------------
Astig kaninang KFC. May nakita kami nina Paeng at Eric ng isang girl habang hinihintay matapos kumain si Eric. As she entered, the guys noticed my eyes trail to a figure behind them. I also seemed unusually more quiet. Then I started to blow my fingers and shake them. Yes, that's right. THe Universal "LnK Sign Language" for "HOT HOT HOT!" hehehe! :D How'd she look?
Long, dark, straight hair, almond eyes and a pretty voice...and she also cut quite a figure too. yeah. that's right. :) I don't know who the girl was, and since she had a guy for company (Who didn't look like her boyfriend. hmmm!), I didn't feel a need to ask. But just being there... well, she made our day a bit more special than 'just another kfc lunch-out'. ü
-----------------------
Ok, so it's finally settling in. HINDI AKO TNT. Grrr. The angst of losing the job I loved so dearly is starting to settle and sink in my system. It's hard, particularly because I read people's blogs that they made it, that I'm asked "oy, kumusta interview?" or "kailan training?"
I'm not mad at you guys. No, I'm in fact flattered that you'd all think I'm a TnT again... it implies I'm some kind of "shoo-in" that they'd want as a TnT.
Truth is, I just missed my interview. Simple as that. Carly did text me, but the text was garbled. The only part you can read was the last half, saying "come 15 mins before the time, Good luck! Chuga on!", her name and stuff like that. Nothing about the change of venue. So when I showed up tired and ragged from the basketball game with my loincloth superhero costume in the SocSci building with nobody there, I thought it was postponed. But no. moved pala yung venue. Shet.
And to think I really wanted to TnT for Balma's batch. I was excited that maybe once I would get to solo. That I'd take over Missy's job of teaching Mafia, the ultimate GD. That I'd get to keep my promise and dance with Rache in the next TnT party, or that I'd get to watch the next OrSem movie. That I'd get to welcome the future of the school I love with a smile in spite of the fact that I'd yell myself hoarse over a span of 3 days.
Well, what kind of TnT would I be if I couldn't adapt to changes like that moving of the venue? And since when did we ever alter our standards, our rules, eh? I missed the 2nd interview by a clear 10 minutes. Bawal na. I'm touched that when I was speaking to Joboy, I felt he was almost willing to fight for my case. The thing was I don't want anybody doing that for me. Malas na. I don't want the shame of taking the back door, exceptional TnT I may be or not. The ball dropped from my hands for a reason.
Hopefully I'll find it out soon. Please Lord. Please lang.
My current hypothesis? That I'd get to preserve my speaking voice for A-Days. :) [para maka-iwas naman ako sa "TnT throat", the after-orsem voice loss.] :p Or maybe it'll be for that "job", whatever it is.
Perhaps the true thing that bugs me is that I never got to gauge how great my skill at being OrSem TnT was. They told me last year "Ok ka". But my work was good because Missy was my partner. I didn't know how good I was on my own. I didn't even know why I got to steal being Missy's partner from everybody. Why me? Hence, I didn't want to believe that I was as good as they hyped until I could do it again, for one more year.
Now, I've lost that chance to know if I really was as good as they claim. Shet.
Oh well. There's next year. And since I'll be studying for five years... the year after! :)

current music: I'll Be - Edwin McCain (i think ganyan spelling) on some... text show on channel 11. *quizzical look*
Pangit araw ko kasi ni kailan man ako nanalo laban kina Eric, Paeng, RaPao... the Claret Boys all kicked my ass in Fifa and NBA Live! Grrr.
Pakshet pakshet pakshet.
If you asked me if I'm feeling bad, I'd say no.
Why?
Because I got to teach Catechism to an attentive class, teach more Math kids (who are smarter than my usual). I got to eat a pretty nice sandwich at mcdo with good friends as company, and spent the afternoon playing with more friends. I also got home nd nobody beat me to the PC. :)
and flipping through blogs of friends, I realize just how better off my situation can be at times. :)
happy.
now if only i knew about this job offer Ronnie's giving... something about being a trainee to be part-time executive. (ako? part-time executive?) 'cause even if it's 2-3 hours flexible for a nice sum of cash, I'm not too willing to do anything more as of now.
nice to try though. I hope I don't have to give up too much.
Pangit araw ko kasi ni kailan man ako nanalo laban kina Eric, Paeng, RaPao... the Claret Boys all kicked my ass in Fifa and NBA Live! Grrr.

current music: In the Club - 50 Cent, Blaze of Glory - N.E.R.D.
Where am I?: I'm at Eric's house!
Eto... nanonood sila ng Naruto, while I'm reading the AWFUL news that the Lakers won. Grrr...
And the fact that Manny Pacquiao didn't win (it was a draw) is also dawning to me that maybe, as far as boxing goes, he's got quite a ways to go. Grrr...
And to listen to music, I've got to use earphones with a cord too short for my neck. Arrrgh!
haay. Hirap minsan. The things we pray for don't always go the way we want. Like how Eric and Paeng always beat me at FIFA 2004. I love Arseneal. How I can't use their manpower in a Playstation 2 game is beyond me. Stupid monkey talaga.
On a lighter note, it's amusing how Paeng seems to pick up my slang of "rakstar" and "putbol". Hehehe. Wala lang. They're not REALLY my expressions, just stuff I borrowed/ripped off from various classmates/batchmates/orgmates/mates. And now they're being ripped off from me.
Is a thief less a thief if he's the one others steal from?
In other news, please pray for me. I'm trying to contact and persuade my participants' parents. For what? I can't say. Sinu-sino? Bawal din. Basta alam nyo naman na naging sponsor ako, so yun. Happy ako. It's a chance to give back.
Tama na muna. Aayusin ko ang tagboard ni Eric.

current music: Joss Stone's "Fell in Love with a Boy" is on MTV
remembering: The Alchemist, and it's many stories. I wish I bought "The Warrior of Light", the companion book, just for fun. ü
I might be going crazy. Still. I'm somewhat in the same boat I was some months ago. Slowly opening my mind to the things/people/possiblilities I shut for myself because I knew I'd be distracted from the tasks I must do. [Dammit Den, impluensya mo 'to!
Well... read Sylvia Plath. It's nice. I read it and I was thinking of something I know I can't call mine, but is important to me, perhaps to me alone.
Wala lang. I can relate.
Mad Girl's Love Song
Sylvia Plath
"I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead;
I lift my lids and all is born again.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
The stars go waltzing out in blue and red,
And arbitrary blackness gallops in:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
I dreamed that you bewitched me into bed
And sung me moon-struck, kissed me quite insane.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
God topples from the sky, hell's fires fade:
Exit seraphim and Satan's men:
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
I fancied you'd return the way you said,
But I grow old and I forget your name.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)
I should have loved a thunderbird instead;
At least when spring comes they roar back again.
I shut my eyes and all the world drops dead.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)"
===============
Ayoko nang ma-in love. Siguro nga... may minamahal nga ako uli.

You are Proverbs.
Which book of the Bible are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

Your Heart is Red
What Color is Your Heart?
brought to you by Quizilla
I like Blogger's new look. So nice to see. :)
And I also want to say my feet REALLY REALLY HURT. Darn this whole stupid precint shit. I had to walk from the corner of Tandang Sora to Balara Elem School, to Laura St across commonwealth, and then back to a Pertron Station across commonwealth again before Dad found me to vote.
arrgh. Ngarag.
MICKEE! WALANG NATULONG YANG www.findprecinct.com MO! :(

current music: erm... MTV; The Darkness! (Ah believe in a theeng called laaaaaave!)
Task for the next two monts: get 3 rainsticks for Kathy, Kaia and Rita.
It's 4:43. I had a good night's sleep. I should be outside jogging or something, but I'm in no mood, and I don't want to force myself. I've had a long enough day, and I'll be going to church in about an hour or so.
Because I'm not allowed to tell you all what happens in a Days meeting (unless you're a Dazer), I'll tell you about the other salient points of my day.
I started my day right yesterday by preparing every little detail of my day. The tribal witch doctor costume I hastily designed for TnT interview 2, the basketball shoes, the water jug, the rainstick for the costume... basta! By the time I left the house with Chimoms to take her and Roz to Park 9, I had a brilliant master plan. I would play for the Tutors' Game in the Sportsfest, get picked up at La Vista to go to Ateneo for the interview (at the nick of time), find Cy and take a cab to Liz's place for the Days meeting.
Galing ng Murphy's Law. Akala ko 1st thing in the morning yung tutors' game, so I was up and at 'em real early. Fine. Naki-sama na lang akong gumawa ng signboards. ("CHIBOG KA!" pa rin eh. and "White Chocolate" :D) After around an hour of the kids playing, we hit a snag when Ate Che broke out the snacks for the kids and all playing stopped. We decided "sige nga, laro na tayo".
It was OK. I feel guilty because Chreesy didn't call me for some vicious fouls against Migo. :p My team won, so I don't have to dance. If we lost a second time, I wouldn't have minded dancing again. :D :D But fine. A deal's a deal. Oh, and since a deal's a deal, KAILANGAN SUMAYAW DIN SI PAREL AT PAENG!! may utang pa sila!
By the time the game ended it was around 11:15. I rushed back to Ateneo. I went up Gonzaga to change/fresh up, but some jerk locked the door. The lights, fan and air-conditioner were all running, but the door wasn't. BASTARDS.
I went to SS Conf and waited. I realized by then I forgot my phone in my other bag, the one I used on the court. Shet. I use a payphone trying to hail Chimoms, but the phone ate up my coins. Double shet. I decide to wait for my interview. It was 11:45 and I half-expected to quickly spot everybody, but nobody was there. I start to feel queasy in my stomach and decide to give in, and use the CR. I get out and check EDSA Walk.
Yun pala, nilipat yung venue. Aargh! Wala man lang text sila sa akin na new venue! Shet shet shet. I ask a girl in red what the time was, and yun, mga lampas 12 na. Nooooo!
And we all know how particular TnT's are w/ time.
So yon. Di ako TnT for this year. *Sniff*.

Today was Sportsfest Day 1. It was loaded with "famous lines". :) And some fun hirit-hirit on Michiko and Kat and Paeng and Perry and Issa...ah, the usual people. :D (may astig na pic na kinuha sa tip-off ng 2nd year vs 1st year game. nasa camera ni Michiko! hehehe.)
One time, in my *frustrated* times playing basketball with my brother, he noted how nice I had "playmaking instinct". (nice of him to say!) He advised me two things: I should either be a point guard, or try coaching a team.
Now being overweight at 5'6", playing point, a job reserved for quick and nimble pure shooters is something I'll never do properly. However, I got a crack at coaching the kids.
ANG HUSAY!!! ANG GAGAYOT!!! Can you say "Undefeated"? :D Wala lang, all I taught them was how to play defense. And set screens. Pretty soon, we beat everybody! We had a small-ball lineup and they ran, ran, ran and hustled, hustled, I'ma hustler baby! :D Then the "big-man" lineup of the bigger, badder LNP boys played like Bad Boy Pistons: hard fouling, sharp shooting, grabbing offensive boards, tough defense... and the "chibog" supal blocks. Ohhh yeah.
Ok, in fairness,
1.) they're 3rd and 4th year guys together against grade 6, 1st and 2nd year kids...which means my players are, on the average, bigger and stronger. However, not all were big. 5 were just as tall, and only around 3 were really considered "tall". So medyo lugi raw ang mga kalaban naming mas bata. But they had help, where each time had the help of 2 tutors apiece playing, at kami puro kids lang. I now have immense respect for Balma and Bingo's games. Husay nila and many times we almost lost, simply because Bingo kept rebounding, and nobody could stop Balma from slashing to the basket.
2.) Perry didn't play for 'his team', the sophomores, and Big Pau wasn't around too. If they were there, malamang hindi kami magiging undefeated.
3.) Not all my commands were obeyed, not all called plays were executed. I had to remember that this is their team. I'm just guest coaching. It was just when Bingo had our backs to the wall by the second half that I got them to start really believing in my way. I like letting them play, while tipping them on defense. It was hella easier than having to teach them how to run a certain play. So many of the faults of my team were done by some coaching blunders. But I'm glad to say the Red Army mananged to play through. :)
Siguro pag champion kami, manlilibre akong ice cream. Lugi. But it'd be nice.
Ganito pala ang feeling mag-coach. Basta. I'm so proud. ü
Nga pala, I still had a tough time managing the discipline of the kids when it was time to go home. I had managed to keep a cool head for the whole day. People around me were already yelling "OY! QUIET NA! SASALITA NA SI ATE ISSA!" and "OY! MAKINIG KAY ATE ANGEL!!", but I was just smiling and saving my voice for my coaching job, putting a finger to my lips to signal silence. :p However, when it was time to go home, many of the kids kept switching back and forth between both sides of the road. Eh may kosteng dumadaan. I worried for their safety, and yelled. and yelled. and yelled. I lost it by the 3rd or 4th time I stopped to yell.
When we got to Della, the gate was locked. Pakshet. More hassles.
So my day was a yo-yo of sorts... up and down and up and down again. I will say 2 things though:
1.) Biggest surprise of the day was how Nicky was around to help me in the pivotal uwian ngaragan. Nawala buong studcom. Si Nicky, hindi studcom, pero tumulong. THANK YOU!
2.) Crisel, if [by some strange miracle] you're reading this, your message (and the things said therein) made my ngarag day so... nice. ü Thank you! ü See you around. Andami kong utang na kwento.
Tomorrow, Tutors game rematch (winning time baby! Showtime!), a TnT interview (I'll just go with this "tribal motif thing". basta. hehe.) and A-Days meeting.
Wish me luck. Pray for me.

Today's LnK Sportsfest. In Issa's words, this is where I have to learn how to "mellow down".
Nga pala, I've got to come up with a costume and concept by tomorrow. I want to TnT, but I really want to sponsor. If my guess is right, the schedules won't conflict. However, I still want to devote as much time as I can to fix things for the people I'll be sponsoring for. It is a big responsibillity after all.
But so is TnT'ing. It's a task of taking care of freshmen. And I'd love to TnT for Balma's batch.
*sigh* Lord, help me.

current music: some select Sinatra songs, particularly "Under My Skin"
watching: PBA, Alaska vs. Sta. Lucia, overtime
Person who made my day: Rita. :D
I'm now thinking of not being a TnT anymore! It'll give Hanniel no reason to be jealous. And maybe take some time of LnK. Just have to find a replacement... :p
And if anybody asks what happened to Raph, just remember, I have become a full-time A-Days staffer, and sponsor of two. Why? Because events have conspired that I serve. It's... something of a wish I asked for coming true.
(I like that word: Conspire. :D )
Will elaborate on a more convenient date. Or better, find me and ask. I'm better explaining orally. :) Or maybe I ought not to elaborate at all! Yeah. That'll be best. Days pa man din.
I will say, though. I think I'll really like A25. :D
PS: My brother asked me 3 weeks ago not to take any calls from... this girl. Said he's "moving on with my life" and he made me promise that if she called, I should tell her he's busy.
Now, he's back on phone call terms again. So if he's in eye-sight, I call him, if not, no.

PS: My brother asked me 3 weeks ago not to take any calls from... this girl. Said he's "moving on with my life" and he made me promise that if she called, I should tell her he's busy.
Now, he's back on phone call terms again. So if he's in eye-sight, I call him, if not, no.

current music: nandyan yung Waiting in Vain and Track 17, but I'm not really listening.
Where my attention is focused: LAKERS vs. SPURS! GO SPURS GO!
"Profound thought from over the weekend": Sometimes a green mango can be amazingly ripe. :)
Ok naman ang mga araw ko. Gising, turo, uwi, tulog.
Haha. No, it's not that boring.
Today my kids asked for me to do "something different". As in "party for the batch different".
No, it's not like me to be insulted. Pressured, definitely. They want something. Ewan ko ba. I can't afford anything for them. I'm just a volunteer tutor. If they want something, they do it themselves. The most I can offer is ice cream. That's it.
Anyway. I decided to use the leftover cheese and tomato sauce for pizza for myself. Yey! :D I like my handiwork. It's nice, and I tossed in some ground leaf basil and oregano on the sauce so it'll taste good. :)
Haha! Hindi yan lalaitin ng brother ko. But I wouldn't know. He didn't get any. Hahaha!
By the way, I visited Ninong Joey's place for Tita Helen's birthday. I must say, I have tasted the BEST mango shake of my entire life! So delicious! Wow! Aliw din ako sa potato salad, sa vegetarian barbecue, the cake... and the gelatin...oh my God... It's hard to describe... they must've spiked it with cream or condesed milk or something... ibang klase yung tama nya sa bibig... so good!
Why is it that when we visit our extended family, the food they serve is better than anything we can serve them from our own homes?
On Saturday, after whatever proceedings of the sportsfest, I shall head for my OrSem Escudo 2nd interview for TnT. Yes, I passed. I kick ass, but I have to re-study my Ateneo know-how and prepare a costume. Then I shall troop to St. Ignatius village to do the A-Days meeting. I'll miss the rest of Sportsfest, so that's sad.
Like this every summer. There's a portion where I'm not there. And when I see people, I'll not be able to relate. But I'm able to catch up for most of it anyway. Hahaha!
*sigh*
I miss school. I miss the pubroom. I miss hearing mass in the chapel. I miss the ice cool of the library, and the hellish heat of Colayco at summer. I miss my friends. I miss walking to Starbucks and Blueskies. I miss my crush.
But when I think about it... no, not really. :)

current music: some emo song being butchered by Roel. arg.
Banas of the day: Roel's ugly singing and Real Madrid losing to Deportivo. grr.
I will offer a big reward for whoever will throw tomatoes at my brother whenever he sings. 'Cause he can't.
----------------
I couldn't wake up. I can't remember what I was dreaming about. All I know was it wasn't all flowers and rainbows. So something went wrong. That's bad.
----------------
I just hit my 401st friend on Friendster. Yehey! A new landmark. So happy ako. :D 29 to go before I pass Luigi's 429... pero tingin ko, dadami pa ang friends nya. Haay.
But 401 ain't bad. :)
----------------
Must remember to get back at Nicky and all her ugly Ateneo-bashing jokes. Tahimik pa man din ako buong panahon na yun. Di pa Lasalista, ang yabang na.
----------------
I had this story idea today. I imagined there's this typical ordinary guy who, everyday, has to put up with jerks. Everyday. Bahala na; school, at home... I'll just channel my angst. Anyway. He usually doesn't mind because on the whole, his life is pretty OK. But because he hates the way he's treated sometimes, he just daydreams about taking the people down. He then starts to have weird dreams of the people being killed. Sort of a continuation of the daydreams. He tells his friends about it, and they just laugh it off, saying it's nothing. Of course these dreams come true, and shit occurs.
It's a basic plot. I'll probably add some little twists in them along the way to help it out. This is where I'm not good at. I don't like the tricks they employ for movies or TV because they're too predictable.
----------------
*resists urge to throw shades at Roel and his guitar. sayang yung shades*
----------------
Well, tough. Kasi dati pang nang-o-OP ang LnK. :p (in admission, may pagka-ganun ako.) At madali mahawa ang ugaling iyan. Ewan ko ba. Sorry na lang.

My inner child is sixteen years old!
Life's not fair! It's never been fair, but while
adults might just accept that, I know
something's gotta change. And it's gonna
change, just as soon as I become an adult and
get some power of my own.
How Old is Your Inner Child?

And no, hindi ko yan dinuktor. :D
current music: 112 - Cupid
current LSS: Parokya ni Edgar's "One And Only" [haha! alam natin bakit]
what ails me: an darn stiff neck that kept me absent in the morning.
I'm home. Parent's night was fun. :) My day wasn't 100% fun, but God's providence allowed for a good ending.
Y'see, I had a bit of a row with my Mom the day before. I had been eating some of the vegetarian bacon (yes, bacon) for several breakfasts in a row, when in truth it was supposed to be for somebody else. To me, that was incredibly stupid. If Mom and Dad really still want me to be vegetarian, they've got to set up better perks. But I digress. The issue was Mom thought I knew it was for somebody else, when in truth, I didn't. I don't agree with everything, but I'm not so stupid as to tear open the pack when it's for somebody else.
So yun. Asar. And Dad was (as usual) siding with Mom. He then scolds me to clean up the den (which wasn't my mess, but still). By then, he just kept on with his sermon, and I didn't even get to air my side. Fine. So I leave the house in a huff to buy basil for Parent's Night Pizza, as well as pizza cheese. I then get a text to buy medicine for Mom's headache (I wonder why). I bought the medicine, then I refused reimbursement. Ganun lang naman. "Money is just money," I said.
I devote the afternoon to a 3-hour nap and cooking pizza. That includes slicing and dicing basil leaves, cutting tomatoes, sprinking them all on pizza bread with cheese and olive oil, toasting them on my beloved oven toaster. I had Chimoms to help, so thank God. I'd never get it done without her.
I leave with my brother and Chimoms. Looking back, Roel tagging along was a double-edged sword. Reklamo ng reklamo na nagugutom siya, 'tas takaw ng takaw, and after linait nya yung food na gawa ko! Ingrate. >:( But it was nice of him to keep Nicky company when nobody wanted to.
Then there's Luigi. So he gets 2 slices. Then di pala aalis, at kumuha pa ng isa! 3 pieces! bEcause of him, di naka-kain ng pizza si Angel at Issa! 'Ika nga ni Issa, "Sana umalis ka na nga!" Agree ako, sistah. Sana umalis na nga nun si Lug. :p
Either way, my "target audience/market" of new tutors and oldies who did not eat the pizza before got to eat. Which in truth, is all I wanted. I gave my share to Kuya Kheempee so he's another dude who got 3 pieces, but he deserved it more than Luigi.
However, something I ate or drank is giving me LBM. Not good. Must've been the water.
More tomorrow.
