what ails me: an darn stiff neck that kept me absent in the morning.

I'm home. Parent's night was fun. :) My day wasn't 100% fun, but God's providence allowed for a good ending.

Y'see, I had a bit of a row with my Mom the day before. I had been eating some of the vegetarian bacon (yes, bacon) for several breakfasts in a row, when in truth it was supposed to be for somebody else. To me, that was incredibly stupid. If Mom and Dad really still want me to be vegetarian, they've got to set up better perks. But I digress. The issue was Mom thought I knew it was for somebody else, when in truth, I didn't. I don't agree with everything, but I'm not so stupid as to tear open the pack when it's for somebody else.

So yun. Asar. And Dad was (as usual) siding with Mom. He then scolds me to clean up the den (which wasn't my mess, but still). By then, he just kept on with his sermon, and I didn't even get to air my side. Fine. So I leave the house in a huff to buy basil for Parent's Night Pizza, as well as pizza cheese. I then get a text to buy medicine for Mom's headache (I wonder why). I bought the medicine, then I refused reimbursement. Ganun lang naman. "Money is just money," I said.

I devote the afternoon to a 3-hour nap and cooking pizza. That includes slicing and dicing basil leaves, cutting tomatoes, sprinking them all on pizza bread with cheese and olive oil, toasting them on my beloved oven toaster. I had Chimoms to help, so thank God. I'd never get it done without her.

I leave with my brother and Chimoms. Looking back, Roel tagging along was a double-edged sword. Reklamo ng reklamo na nagugutom siya, 'tas takaw ng takaw, and after linait nya yung food na gawa ko! Ingrate. >:( But it was nice of him to keep Nicky company when nobody wanted to.

Then there's Luigi. Hirit nya "uy, paalis na ako, penge ng pizza." So he gets 2 slices. Then di pala aalis, at kumuha pa ng isa! 3 pieces! bEcause of him, di naka-kain ng pizza si Angel at Issa! 'Ika nga ni Issa, "Sana umalis ka na nga!" Agree ako, sistah. Sana umalis na nga nun si Lug. :p

Either way, my "target audience/market" of new tutors and oldies who did not eat the pizza before got to eat. Which in truth, is all I wanted. I gave my share to Kuya Kheempee so he's another dude who got 3 pieces, but he deserved it more than Luigi.

However, something I ate or drank is giving me LBM. Not good. Must've been the water.
